While your traditional NHS scans are all performed using 2D technology resulting in standard black and white images, our scan centres house 3D/4D scan probes which mean that we are able to capture footage of your baby unlike anything that you have seen before. This technology literally captures footage of your baby moving about within the womb in three dimensions such that you are able to see the details of distinct features such as the nose, chin, and cheeks which are not apparent using 2D scanning alone. If your wee one is a bit of a performer, you may even witness yawns, waves, winks and smiles.
